The founding team you don’t have yet.

We build the company behind your company. Commercial architecture, technical infrastructure, financial model, embedded, from day one, until Series A.

You’re the CTO. And the CFO. And the one closing every deal.

Most days that holds. The day it doesn’t is the one nobody warned you about.

We built companies with no one to ask: twenty years, three continents, a fair number of mistakes that didn’t need making. Praxis exists so you don’t have to repeat them.

The part nobody tells you

The mess isn’t your fault. The right role was missing at every decision.

Nobody owned tech. Nobody owned finance. Nobody owned revenue. You tried to own all three while also building the product. That isn’t failure. It’s what a company looks like before the right people are in the right seats.

What Praxis is

Embedded operators. Not outside advice.

× Not a consultancy

Consultants deliver recommendations. We deliver outcomes, and we're accountable for them because our equity is on the line alongside yours.

× Not an agency

Agencies execute what you tell them to. We design the system you're executing against. Different job.

× Not a VC

We don't write cheques. We sit next to the founder and build what needs to be built: commercially, technically, financially.

× Not a dev shop

We don't outsource sprints. We design the technical architecture your product needs to scale, then build the team that runs it.

× Not an AI vendor

We don't sell you a model and move on. We integrate AI only where the diagnosis says it earns its place, never forced, never a bolt-on.

What we are

A quasi-founding team for companies with a product, still building the company around it.

Praxis takes 4–5 companies per year. Each engagement is structured as a founding partnership: equity and retainer, milestone-vested, not a monthly fee. We are embedded in the business: in the room for decisions, on calls with institutional counterparts, present when GTM architecture and technical infrastructure are being built.

The retainer covers operating cost. The equity is the alignment mechanism. It vests on milestones, not calendar time. If we don’t build something worth vesting, it doesn’t vest.

Three partners. Three functions. One firm. CGO, CTO, CFO, the roles a 0-to-1 founder needs and rarely has.

Build, operate, transfer. We build it, we run it, and then we hand it over. When you’re ready for a full-time team, everything transfers: the systems, the playbooks, the relationships. Nothing stays locked to us.

How it works

The first 90 days are the same every time.

Not because we follow a playbook. Because the same structural gaps appear in every 0-to-1 company, and the sequence for closing them doesn’t change.

Month 01

Diagnosis. No assumptions.

Problems we can't solve get said in month one, not month six.

Delivers

  • Structural gap analysis
  • Function-by-function priority map
  • Fit decision: go or no-go
Month 02

First structure. Priority function.

Structure gets installed before the first hire is made.

Delivers

  • Priority function operating
  • Hiring sequence defined
  • First institutional conversations initiated
Month 03

System running. Company visible.

The company looks and operates like a company, not held together by founder effort alone.

Delivers

  • Operating system in place
  • Financial model and investor narrative
  • Series A readiness baseline
The work

Firm-level. Pattern-level.

Two engagements, anonymised at client request. The outcomes are attributable. The pattern is the point.

B2B SaaS · Enterprise Revenue Build

Zero-to-one enterprise sales organisation. ₹2,000Cr GTV. 24+ F500 mandates.

An IPO-bound B2B SaaS company selling through five business heads pitching five different products at the same enterprise buyer: no single voice, no institutional buying logic. Built the specialised Enterprise Growth Unit from the ground up: one organisation-to-organisation narrative, value-led not product-led, backed by real-time CRM intelligence, the function that closed Deloitte, EY, Marsh McLennan, KPMG, and Uber.

Who we take

The filter is the problem. Not the industry.

A founding partner stretched across 15 founders is a liability, not an asset. That’s why Praxis stays at four or five. The first conversation is a diagnostic, not a pitch: if there’s a structural fit, the engagement is designed within two weeks. If there isn’t, that’s said directly and early.

We say no more often than we say yes. Not to seem selective: four or five is the honest limit of what three people can carry properly.

What a fit looks like

  1. 01Post-idea: a product, or a product in build. Not a concept.
  2. 022–30 person team. Past formation, not yet at scale.
  3. 03Working toward PMF: early signal that needs to become a system.
  4. 04Series A is the horizon. 12–18 months out.
  5. 05The founder is ready to build, not just plan.
  6. 06Sector agnostic. The problem is the filter, not the industry.

We pass on

× Idea-only. No product, no build in progress.
× Looking for a vendor, not a partner.
× Equity is non-negotiable on your side.
